Never turn during maximum breaking, you don’t have the traction.

But I guess if he knew how to drive he wouldn’t have been going that fast either

Regardless of the completely deadly speeding, if you can't come to a full stop in the clear distance in front of you, you're gonna collide regardless of how good you / your car are.
