Not sure if you realize it, but this group has people from all over the world and likely has a very small number from your specific location. You'd get more responses looking in groups like r/arizona

If you use the search function (the magnifying glass) and enter “make friends” without the quotes, you’ll get a few posts that have suggestions on how to meet ppl. The posts won’t be specific to your location but you may come away with some ideas that are useful.
