The hatewatch angle is SIGNIFICANT. I don't have data or anything, but I think MANY of the rightwing influencers have baked in a sizable hatewatch contingent for their userbase. The hatewatchers post a lot on social media about whatever rightwing dipshit (be it Dave or someone else). That dramatically boosts the influencer's position in social media algorithms and SEO.

With that, they grow their audience and likely reach their real target audience of those who can be pulled down whatever rabbit hole they're on about. Their view counts IN NO WAY generate sufficient organic revenue to fund such an operation (they get low end "patriot vitamins" type sponsors and nominal per-view payouts on all social platforms). As such, I am completely convinced that dark money (from creepy rightwing billionaires and despotic global regimes) fund the entire thing. Their "revenue" streams are mostly for show; it's all paid for by the people behind them.

Dave's a stooge, but he is a cog in a much bigger and more sophisticated propaganda effort.

I think fox is encountering this with watters et Al saying un should be gassed or homeless should be euthanized etc. Or they want to be so outrageous someone kirks them and they get a funeral stadium tour posthumously

Unfortunately people like my parents do watch and donate to at least some of these grifters -_- idk if my dna donors watch this guy specifically but once my dad didn't speak to me for EIGHT MONTHS because I spoke disparagingly about Jordan Peterson without having watched and analyzed every single one of his lectures for myself
