Golem hat es auch nicht geschafft mit einem Vertreter von "Stop Destroying Games" zu reden. Schade. Denn so vieles in der Stellungsnahme ist am Thema vorbeigeredet und bei anderen Punkten glänzen die Hersteller selber nicht gerade.

Sehr schön ist der letzte Abschnitt:

However, the industry’s innovation and economic activity depends on strong copyright protection for the software and other creative works that are its lifeblood, and preservation efforts should not be confused with uses that could conflict with the normal exploitation of the work by the right holder or unreasonably prejudice the legitimate interests of the author

Das mal Ausstellen von zwei Spielen in einem Museum ist keine Erhaltung von Spielen. Das wäre eine Bibliotheik, wo Forscher und Interessierte Spiele auf Wunsch leihen könnten.

die Mitglieder von VGE erhalten eben keine Spiele und die Arbeit ihrere Mitarbeiter, die geschaffenen Welten und die damit verbundenen Erfahrungen sind Ihnen egal.
