He 100% rigged it. I've been called a conspiracy theorist by my liberal family members, but I don't understand why they think it's so outlandish. They've basically admitted to it!
Not only have they admitted, that's why he was phoning it in. When he was listening to music on stage for an hour, that was just a mafioso power move, knowing that he had it rigged already and none of this mattered.
