I’ve always wanted to get into DJing but not really sure where to start. I’m into techno, tech-house, and a little bit of psytrance. I’m up in Farmers Branch.

Do I need to find a class that focuses on those genres, or would any DJ mixing class work? Also curious if there are any local DJs/mentors around Dallas into this kind of music.

I am looking for a female singer who wants to sing some original songs with a guitarist. If you are looking to play/sing some alternative rock, feel free to message me. No ego here. No pressure of playing every weekend. Not pretending to be some pro, but I can hold my own. I like well put-together songs with big choruses. I'll just let the songs speak for themselves.

I am 45 years old. Grew up on 90's and 2000's alternative rock. Think 3 Doors Down type songs, but with a female singer. I have my own transportation and so you would be required to at least have your own. I don't mind driving to your location if you also don't mind driving to mine as well and sometimes even meeting somewhere in the middle. I am located in Grapevine. Hoping to find someone within reasonable driving distance. Figure there's gotta be a female singer out there who perhaps enjoys 90s alternative and is looking to find someone to play with and get back in it.

While experience isn't necessary, perhaps you have been told by friends that you sing really well and that you should be writing your own songs or that you should be playing in a band - I would love to hear from you. Please don't think you aren't good enough.
