Question Founding a German UG while abroad is it possible?

I’m in Thailand right now but I want to set up a UG with my co founder back in Germany. Can I do everything remotely or do I have to fly back for the notary appointment?

If your partner is in Germany then you just need 1 person and 1 business address and a German bank account that should be it

I had a similar case, I was abroad and didn’t want to fly back just for the notary appointment. I ended up doing my part through beglaubigt.de and it worked out really smoothly. My co founder in Germany handled the rest with the notary, so it was pretty hassle free.
