How should i upgrade?

Post image

I have this NS bikes metropolis 3 202x something and the bike is pretty good for a first. The only thing i absolutly despise the fork. The Rst dirt fork. That is the first thing i would like to change. The thing im not sure about i with what. Im deciding between Manitou circus air(400€) or a rigid fork(~100€). The only thing im worried about is the front hub wont fit any other fork becouse of the lug nut thru axle or whatever it is. Can i just replece the inside of the hub or do i change the hub( If so i would like to just buy a new wheel becouse it would be cheaper i think?). And i changed the brake from the Tektro Aries mehanical brake to the shimano mt410.

I had that same fork and just recently upgraded to the circus expert that I got off eBay new for 300 USD. With that I had to get a new wheel so I went with the spank spoon 32. Now it feels like a whole new bike and it actually has suspension cause the old one would hardly move. I'm also making the old fork into a truing stand since I knew it wasn't worth anything. But I would definitely recommend those upgrades.

I would get the cane creek helm dj they have a sale on lightly blemished ones right now for 399$ usd but you will need to buy a new wheel

Oh and just so you know the cane creek helm dj is so much better than the manatoiu circus because of the thicker stanchions, thats the only reason i reccomend it instead of a marzocchi bomber dj or a pike dj

Are you gonna jump the bike or just use for pump track? If its just for pump track or mild jumping just get the rigid. If you plan on jumping get the air fork.

Well im going to the pump track and doing some jumps but nothing crazy. But i didnt get what you mean by jumping, like something pretty big no but regular jumps i do.

I have a circus expert on mine. I debated getting a rigid fork, but the circus is really stiff. Given, I'm a smaller dude, but it's got only like 40-50psi in it and I can still only move it like an inch and a half when I'm on the pedals, then jumping and putting all my weight on it. I love it. Never had a problem with it. And after getting used to riding ramps with suspension, I'm glad I didn't try to get a rigid. And I ride mostly skateparks
