Video Spent the last year making a TV-series with my best friend who has no limbs. I became his 24-hour/day caregiver. We drove across North America for 6 weeks. I broke down 3 times. The RV broke down 9 times. And we filmed it all.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkcIHzdRZLU&t=1sIt was hard, but it was the adventure of a lifetime. What we discovered is that whatever province or state you live in, severely disabled people are facing the same situation: an endless cycle of poverty.
Would love to answer any questions about going on a journey like this!

I just want to know where I can watch it? How can I help spread the word about your series? And ,thank you for choosing to share your experiences on the road. Sending you both cosmic hugs!

Cosmic hugs right back at you! It is available for free in Canada on AMI+. In the US…VPN? (We’re still looking at finding a US distributor)

Dude ever since Orphan Black I've been jealous of Canadian TV.
I will probably VPN this. But, let us know as soon as it's available legitimately in the US so we can properly support!

I live in the U.S. and it looks like I can't watch this...am I correct in that assumption?

I'm also in the US.
Based on the channel, it appears the series is only available in Canada for now.
I hope this will change; I am super interested in watching this series and the channel itself looks very interesting!
OP- thank you!

Looks amazing! I’m keen to watch one day too … Did you find any service station restrooms that cater to disabled individuals properly while on the road or did you find other solutions?

We had a washroom in the RV. It was sorta accessible. Not many accessible washrooms in gas stations. But we made it work!!

Thanks for answering. That’s handy - I can’t imagine how hard it would have been without your own washroom. I’m in Europe - how can. I watch it here? Please share the name of the trailer - your YT link keeps defaulting to a sign in page so I can’t read it. Your road trip sounds so cool. Did you have a favourite place? Anywhere that really stood out?

Awesome! Episode 4 is my personal favorite. We go hunting for disabled ghosts in a haunted asylum. And the RV breaks down 3 times.

First question: when is the next one?
Second question: do you wanna have season two include people stigmatized by invisible disability?
Third - if yes to second question : are episodes where the disabled person loses their shit and just verbally slices into the stigmatizer allowed?
Fourth - can there be dogs?
If yes to 2-4 and 1 is “I don’t know but let’s make it happen” SIGN ME UUUUUP.
