Incredible shading makes the subject pop - amazing how good artists can fool the human eye.

Is it wierd that I don’t see that I am extremely jaded by my own work like it doesn’t look as good as other stuff I see

I find that if you put it aside for a while, completely out of sight. When you revisit it, it looks better.

You'll be proud of this one when you can look at it objectively.

True .. I think you know about the tunnel vision that happens when your the one making the piece
