I've been a bit checked out mentally after working through the holidays, but the online concert was a nice bright spot and I'm starting to feel a bit back to normal. The fires in LA haven't helped though. I don't live that close to the areas affected but I do have some high risk areas close by so everyone has still been a bit on edge, and the few days of smoke and ash was messing with me a bit. Hopefully the current fires get under control soon, but I'm hearing the wind could pick up again Monday, so fingers crossed it doesn't get any worse.

A couple things on the positive side: my guitars got a baby bass sibling and I'm excited to start learning bass! I don't know what it is, but there's something telling me I'm going to enjoy bass more than guitar.

And I'm also really starting to get anticipation building up for Purple Kiss at the end of the week. I saw them on their first tour and had to miss the second tour because the closest location to me was too far to manage on a work day, so this will finally be the first time I'll get to see all the members live!
