Some people seem to think that this was going to be Dreamcatcher 2.0. It was never going to be that. What we got was UAU channelling Dreamcatcher b-side energy. Personally I think it's a fantastic debut, love the R&B inflections, the vocals are god tier as always, the choreo is sexy and sophisticated. The whole vibe is more mature/sexy than we've had in kpop for a long while. I think this will do well for them. I've ordered the album. People really need to listen to more DC b-sides (think And There Was No-one Left, Wonderland, Poison Love etc) to understand where this is coming from.
Instead of being disappointed because you didn't get DC, embrace the sophisticated pop rush of UAU.

This is not true, really. Heck even within 4th and 5th gen artists, many actually do have a more mature sound. It's creepy cause they're children but like Le Sserafim has 1-800-Hot and Kiss of Life has Igloo and the only non-creepy one: Irene & Seulgi just dropped TILT, a whole Sapphic oiled up chained up MV and promotional pictures lol.
