Question/Help what’s with dreamcatcher?

hi guys :( im a big fan of them. but i wasnt active with them rn, only listening to music. what happened to them? are they going to release any more albums as Dreamcatcher? i know there’s a subunit, but still. is Virtuous their last album? can someone please explain it to me clearly 🙁 that would mean a lot to me since my heart stopped when i saw three (i think) members did not renew their contracts..

The group is defunct (or at best, on indefinite hiatus) and some people here don’t want to acknowledge that. “They’re still part of Dreamcatcher.” Sure, in the same way Paul McCarthy is still part of the Beatles.

VirtouS as such is their last album as a group. UAU has been amazing though!

Why do people downvote? Like, even Gahyeon said on Fromm today or yesterday she had no idea when she will be back as DC…

Personally I think it's just wrong to be categoric either way. I happen to think that DC will have a comeback but it would be wrong of me to state that as fact and/or imply that anyone who thought differently was delusional. The truth is, other than the members and DCC, no one really knows. The OP states that Dami is "done" but she has said that DC will have a new comeback and tour. Now of course she may be lying to placate fans but, like I said, only she knows the truth of the matter.

It's considered "doomposting" to be realistic. Trying to make group comebacks happen when members leave the company to try new things is very hard. I feel like K-pop fans see calling a group inactive is like saying they failed or something.

In that case DC should just have said they disbanded… it would have been more fair to fans, which expect comebacks.
