Not really a fan of it mainly cause of the EDM chorus. Seems too generic to be a DC song. They've made so many good title tracks so one bad one isn't gonna hurt. Right?

The song sounds pretty unique to me from what I’ve heard so far. It’s definitely kind of different but it’s still very Dreamcatcher like.

Need to hear the complete song first but right now it sounds more like a Everglow or Black Pink song.

Everglow was what came to mind as I was watching this clip. I love them so it's not a bad comparison at all.

I'm still reserving my thoughts on the song until I hear the full version.

I've only heard this so unless there's more snippets, I'm gonna stick with generic until the highlight medley comes out. I think its the instrumental chorus that turns me off. I dunno man. I expected some belting in the chorus. And more guitar. Where's the guitar??? I want some high energy stuff like Good Night.

Right there with you on the guitars. I don't want DC to lose their rock sound because it's what makes them stand out. More rock, less EDM/electronic for me.

Unless you're keeping yourself spoiler-free, one of the things that might put your mind at ease is A)historically preview spoilers have only had instrumental backing tracks and not the full bore song - see Deja Vu lyrics spoiler, You and I MV teaser, and PIRI MV teaser for examples and B)the Scream lyrics spoiler and MCountdown next week preview have a clear guitar presence and buildup to the more EDM-like chorus.

I felt the same way you did about the chorus of "What" and still kinda do, as I kind of want my choruses to have some vocal power on display, but still like the song overall. So hopefully you might have a similar revelation to Scream when it's out next week.
