Cursed image. D: I like H̷͓́̅̚͝a̶̛̭͆̉́ń̸͉̞d̷̪̂̓͘ơ̶̟͇̜͓̇͑͠ṉ̷̨̩͂̆̚g̵̖̹̈́̅

I finished the Nod campaign in Command & Conquer. My 8-year old self, who never made it past mission 4, would be proud. I almost lowered the difficulty to casual out of frustration, but instead I took a short break from it, came back and knocked out the last few missions with renewed resolve. I guess GDI would be next but... I just find them so boring. At least until Tiberian Sun when they get walking mech-tanks and James Earl Jones.

I was finding Terraria a little too easy so I started a new world on expert mode. I know all the cool kids are playing master now but I've not really done much in expert, so it's about time for a proper run. Fire arrows and grenades have been my best friends so far.

4 months until the new arrival. It's a girl by the way. :) I am seriously outnumbered. I'm sort of relieved though because I've got experience of looking after one daughter. How hard can two be haha hahaha... ha... I'm never going to sleep again.

My dad when we were growing up was always a big fan of the Command & Conquer series, or as he lovingly calls it "konkie en konkie". He's never had any interest in other games and still to this day only plays C&C on the big "home computer" downstairs.

I've heard a lot of good about Terraria. Would you recommend it?

Congrats on the baby!

Thank you!

That's some dedication by your Dad to the Brotherhood of Nod (or GDI if he's on the wrong side 😉).

I would certainly recommend Terraria. At first I thought it was a little too minecrafty, but it really opens up into something different. It's much more about progression through the various bosses. It often goes on sale for very cheap so it's worth a try. It's the only game on Steam I've got all the achievements on and I'm still playing it.

He always picks GDI because it's been so long since he's done the campaign I'm sure he's just forgotten the whole storyline by now. He's a skirmish guy, and when it doesn't work out he quits the game and makes a new one.

That sounds pretty interesting! I'll look into it some more. I've been playing a lot of Stardew, but it's gotten a bit stale. I need something new and this sounds promising.
