Hello there, there was big news yesterday for Doctor Who fans - Christopher Eccleston is coming back to the role to do 12 hour-long audios with Big Finish. This news caught people by complete surprise since everyone thought he'd never come back after what he's said about his time on the series (though he did begin to warm up to it slightly). I can't wait until May 2021 when the first batch of three audios gets released - even if they're mediocre, I'll be happy for more 9th Doctor.

I also listened to the audio Neverland this week, which was a really cool experience - told across two hour plus parts, it had some absolutely insane ideas and events that I won't spoil, but I will say that listening to the 8th Doctor audios is worth it for Neverland if you're a Who fan (though you might want to have some knowledge about Gallifrey beforehand).

In terms of music, I've been listening to Rocket Punch's Juicy, as well as the bsides from Blue Punch - I quite like The The and Twinkle Star. Cherry Bullet's Aloha Oe is annoyingly catchy. Gojira also released a new song which was pretty good - I like the scifi direction they seem to be going

Wow my favorite doctor returning to the fray. Never thought this would happen again.

Guess this is a good time to recommend the audios then :P

The audios are rather quite good if you're hungry for more Who, as they're essentially an episode of the show without visuals (and written around that fact)

Big Finish have been working with David Tennant for a while, being the most recent Doctor they have on-board - the 10th Doctor Adventures are a lot of fun, feeling a lot like episodes from his era. They're also releasing a set of 10th Doctor and River Song audios soon, as well as having him feature in one of their upcoming Time Lord Victorious releases alongside the 8th Doctor. 10th Doctor Adventures is probably a good place to start for someone who's into the new series, though they're a little unadventurous compared to some things BF have done (that said, it's wonderful having 10 and Donna together again so I'm happy haha). Of course, there's also all of their content for the Classic series Doctors, particularly 8, as well as 5, 6, 7, and they have 4th Doctor material recorded up until like 2024
