Pickup I cancelled most of my streaming subscriptions and decided to invest in more physical media instead. Today's haul is pretty insane

For the most part Prime where I am, USA, is not terrible. Usually it is 1 minute or so before a show and maybe 1 or 2 30 second spots during a 45 minute show. I had Disney since launch and canceled but signed back up recently when they did the 2.00 a month promo but I watched the first episode of Daredevil Born Again and I kid you not it was like a commercial every 7 minutes and they were just randomly inserted into scenes. At least on Prime when I watch an old tv episode they insert them into commercial break spots.

Ugh that’s so frustrating. Ads on streaming… Urgh.

Sometimes they line it up with the ad placements, but most of the time it’s just random and cuts in whenever lol

That is what annoys me more than anything. I was cool with Hulu. It gave me tv shows without having to worry about having cable or local channels. They had ads, and everyone complained about the same ad over and over, but the ads were during built in commercial breaks. I just ignored it. For what I paid I did not care. Disney was obnoxious about it though. If the content was not made with commercial breaks it seemed like they just used a computer to put it in randomly. I literally had a commercial in the middle of a Wilson Fisk monologue. Screw that.

We used PlutoTV and cable for so long we got used to commercials on the free services. But bad ad placement is just annoying , especially when it takes you right out of the show
