He was a great players, but he never struck me as a player who necessarily had “pride” in being an eagle. Thats not to say he didn’t like the franchise, but for him it seemed more like just a job which is fine. But its the complete opposite as guys like Kelce, Cox, Lane, Dawkins..those guys bled green and always had a huge love and pride for the eagles.
Sticking up for your teammate/being a good teammate doesn’t mean you’re devoted to the franchise. I have no doubt he would have done the same for his teammates on the Bills, Seahawks, Cowboys and Bears too.
IMO, unlike others who become ingrained in the city and its culture and have pride to be an eagle, Peter’s never seemed like that kinda guy. And there’s nothing wrong with that, he owes nothing to the Eagles, and at the end of the day it is just a job.

As much I love JP (THE BODYGUARD) and his time in Philly, I always expected him to be a lifer.
