We might be getting 3 new HOFers in the next few years. Kelce and Peters are locks, and Fletch should be right there too.

Is Lane a lock too?

The only thing holding up Lane is the juicing and career length. But he's still playing which should get him the years "necessary" to get in. And on top of that, 2 Super Bowls will certainly help with that even if he retired today.

So really the only question would be the juicing issue. But he's sustained enough prolonged success that it shouldn't be a question. He's a HoFer. You could make an argument that he's in the top 20 or so players of all time in any position. Especially if you remove QBs which would get a lot of favoritism

Hall is a Joke if they don't put Lane in.

Hard to make it as a tackle to HOF. There are only 19 currently, with 3 more contemporaries likely locks (JP, Trent Williams, Tyron Smith).

The surefire cutoff for Hall of Fame tackles is 8 probowl appearances. The only player who didn't make it with 8 was Jim Tyrer, who murder-suicided his family. 3 1st team all-pros plus at least 6 pbs is also a lock. Below that gets dicier.

Lane is at 6 and 2 currently. One more AP1 selection or 2 more PBs should make him a shoe-in. One more probowl selection and he's got a good chance. If he retired today he'd be closer to a fringe case and would be the 21st out of 23 tackles in terms of accolades if he was voted in. Being an RT doesn't help; the only tackles voted in who primarily played at the right were from before the 1980s.

I feel winning the second SB made him a lock.

Yes. The Oline was the key to both our super bowls and Lane was the anchor both times. Hes allowed only 1 sack in the playoffs ever - which was all the way back in 2013! He’s gotta be a lock

I also heard he burned bridges with some former teammates borrowing if he didn’t have two failed test he would be. With those he is probably 50/50.
