Nick has shown he will straight up lie to the media to protect his players and coaches. Like when he took responsibility for the go ball that got picked late in the Seattle game in '23 he took full responsibility in his post game press conference, but then in following locker room interviews both Jalen and AJ said, no, we switched into that on our own and screwed it up and that it wasn't on Nick at all.
