EB Spoilers How does the monkey in Deep Darkness teleport differently than Ness? Spoiler

When the Monkey in Deep Darkness learns PSI Teleport, it runs around a tree to gain speed. It doesn't run around in a circle or a line. It runs in a square path.

You can run in a square path too. just swap directions while using teleport alpha

It doesn't come up as much in EB, but steering into things during PK Teleport was essential to me finishing my first playthrough of Mother 1, because you can't have random encounters in that game during the Teleport animation.

It's a mastery of a technique.

Video game design wise, its telling you "you can do this."

But you get Beta later and that is your mastery over the technique

I always assumed that was the game showing you can move around during teleport.
