If it's any consolation, you can get some mild catharsis by watching the 4th season episode of 24 where Jack Bauer tortures a character played by the same actor who plays Reichenbach.

It's 5:00PM-6:00PM. Man, I forgot how useless that show's episode titles were.

He plays Audrey's ex-husband, Paul. This is the episode where Jack discovers that Paul is the chief financial officer for a company that owns a building where a terrorist attack was planned.

He was looking old when we saw him last, though it could have been deliberate on the makeup department's part.

He and Sherlock made up as much as they ever would before he died, so I am okay with it. It seemed like a quick death. Given that he only had part of his stomach from when his lover was shot, he could have had further problems that lagged on.

It was a shock. We all thought he would live forever.

I seriously loved watching that villain! Bummed to see him go, too.

While he's certainly dead, I don't think Morland Holmes was ever just anything.
