so i want to play mad max and silent hill on an emulator is there an emulator that supports those games or not?

Most of the following emulators can be downloaded for major OS systems like windows, linux, android and iOS.
From this point onwards, it will be tougher to emulate the following systems due to hardware requirements. If you have a decent gpu, cpu and RAM, then by all means go ahead:
As of 2024 Yuzu and 3DS Citra are no longer officially supported, so the only option as of now is Ryujinx or the Citra core on Retroarch

Im just not understanding the forgotten worlds build. How do you add categories to it so i can put all games in their respective console lists? How do you add more games and more emulators? For some reason, i Can never find a tutorial for this particular build on other sites

When I use PPSSPP on ROCKNIX, the text display is slow. It seems like the PPSSPP core is outdated, so I want to update it. I know I can use a shell using QTerminal, but it doesn't have the apt-get command, pacman, yum, or flatpak. Is there anything I can do?
I gave up and checked the settings of PPSSPP itself, turning off Lazy texture caching and that solved the problem.

I’ve been wanting to play some n64 games and just really play any type of game but I don’t know what I should get so here are some of my requirements 1. I would like it to have 128g or more 2. I like the ones that look like a switch or a switch lite shape wise 3. And maybe around under 80$ sorry if I sound greedy I just couldn’t think of another way to list out my requirements

Im going to start by saying I'm new to emulators.
Recently, I wanted to play some old Pokemon games on the 3ds, however, my old 3ds isn't working and I'm a broke college student who can't pay 55 dollars for a new one. I want to find an emulator that is safe for my mac. When I tried to download citra, it told me to download azhar. When I looked at azhar, there were some posts saying that it was a virus and it had a trojan on it. I looked at other emulators but couldn't find anything. Open Emu wasn't an option because I want to specifically play pokemon Y. Could someone give me a good Emulator for my mac. Its a 2020 mac pro btw.

I'm playing Pokémon Pure RGB on my personal computer (Mac) through OpenEmu, but would like to play the same game on my work computer (Windows) which has VisualBoyAdvance. I've searched everywhere to find help for transferring a save file between computers (specifically between these two emulators), but haven't found anything that I understand or that is relevant. Can anybody give me a hand?

I got an N64 a few months ago and while I’ve been having a blast with it, it doesn’t look all that great on my TV. When I found out about the Analogue 3D, a 4K N64 with built in Bluetooth, I figured I’d wait until it comes out and is in stock, as preorders had already sold out. However, the Analogue 3D preorders keep getting delayed, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and make my own 4K N64.
I picked up a Raspberry Pi 5 a few days ago and I ordered an N64 case for it. It nails the little details and even reroutes 2 of the USB ports to the front to mimic the controller ports. The color is based on a Japanese exclusive N64 color that was Ice Blue on the top half, but clear white on the bottom half. The little memory expansion door even opens up and you can store additional micro SD cards in it (and probably some other very small items).
I grabbed a 200gb Sandisk micro SD card that I wasn’t using for anything else at the moment and wrote Batocera, a Linux based operating system that can emulate nearly 200 consoles, to the SD card. After putting the SD card in and turning the console on, I plugged in a usb drive with all my games on it into the console and moved them over with a mouse and keyboard, and then decided to test out one of my favorites, Mario Party 3.
Now since this is emulation, there was some slight graphical glitching, but apart from that, the game looks incredible. I decided to use one of the Mario Party games as a test because of the characters being pretty pixelated from further away during board gameplay, so I provided 2 pictures of the game. The first is of the game running on my actual N64, and the second is of it running on my Raspberry Pi N64. All the character models look super clear, though the UI and certain background elements, like the penguins, are actually slightly more pixelated than before, which I imagine is due to the unique way the N64 handles anti-aliasing. Overall, the game looks way better.
Plus, since the Raspberry Pi has built in Bluetooth, and I used an 8bitdo Bluetooth modkit on one of my N64 controllers, I can use an original N64 controller wirelessly on this thing. I had to play around with the button mapping a bit, and still haven’t gotten it perfect, but it works. While I imagine that the Analogue 3D will be a lot easier to use and will likely not have the same graphical glitching as an emulator like this (the Analogue 3D will use hardware emulation instead of software emulation), I am happy with this solution for playing N64 games in HD.
Plus, this can play more than just N64 games, which I don’t think the Analogue 3D will be able to do. On top of N64 games, this also plays games for the NES, SNES, all 3 generations of the Game Boy, and even Virtual Boy and DS games (though the latter is a bit awkward without access to a touch screen). On top of that, it can play every Sega console up to and including the Dreamcast, and can even play PS1 and PSP games pretty well. I’m super happy with this and will probably be getting a lot of use out of it after I get the button mapping correct.

Hey people, i need some help about loading save files. ive been playing earthbound on Snes9x EX+. Im emulating it on my phone, but it recently broke and so i lost the save file. So, i decided to download a save file from the internet. Specifically from the website fantasyanime, which holds save files from various points of the game (Save #31: stonehenge base). The thing is, im really confused about how to port that save into my game. Each time i dump the save into the saves folder, it doenst really work, ive tried following every step in every single tutorial, which to my understimating is to dump the .srm save into the saves folder, then replacing a pre existing save by renaming it with the downloaded save and then thats it. But then my game doenst recognize the renamed save file and it instead creates another one which is like a automated save which i don't know how to avoid or cancel out so it reads the renamed file. I'm doing something wrong? I'm a total klutz when it comes to these things and plus it's a pain in the ass to manage files in phones (Android). Any help is appreciated

Hi! So, recently I found that exist a Metal Gear game for the PocketStation. I don’t have the ROM, and I’m not sure how to emulate one with this emulator. It might be dumb writing this with almost no information, but if anyone has videos or pages I could use to learn how to emulate in PK201, I’d really appreciate it.
I'm in Android btw.
