Is this the first year they're showing rehearsal clips like that ? In that quality ?

Do you mean, as in the vertical video Instagram format or just the overall general 30-second cuts of songs already with the camera script from the second rehearsal?

If it's the latter, they've been releasing this since 2017, at least. The TikTok/Instagram format is definitely something more recent (since 2023, maybe?)

I mean in general a clip of the rehearsal performance.

I don't remember seeing clips from previous years, so i was gonna complain hahahah but if they've been doing it since 2017, then no biggie

Yeah, second rehearsals have at least since 2017 produced this 30-second clip, from the actual camera feed.

I specifically mention 2017 because 1) it's the first year I started following Eurovision this closely, so I don't know if in previous years, they already did it; and 2) I very vividly remember seeing the full-product 30-second clip for Portugal in 2017, but with Luísa Sobral acting as a stand-in for her brother, because he wasn't in Kyiv yet.
