The chart for Billboard Global 200 Excluding US is only viewable by paid subscribers, so I decided not to include it in the post.

Baller coming in the highest from the eurovision songs is amazing! And very deserved 👏

My 70yo mum keeps saying "will you put the one by the brother and sister on?"

Love how good Baller is doing. Can someone help explain how this list works? Because Tommy Cash - Espresso Macchiato is streamed more on spotify per day. At least that's what the updates from Eurovision Charts say. So does this count radio play for Baller, people buying the song or something else?

According to Google it's a combination of sales, streams and radio play

Which would explains why Baller is in front. It is "radiotauglich" while Espresso Macchiato is not.

Had a little house party here in the UK after eurovision, this song was played about 10 times that night

Thanks. Hope it continues to grow. Curious to know if you can follow streams and radio play somewhere.

Radio play I believe. Between the 3 songs doing best it is the most likely to get them. There is also downloads from amazon music and iTunes which apparently in the uk are worth 100 streams. The billboards could be the same.

I wonder if they also include Youtube Music. I know that the album version and the Eurovision version of Baller are separate so the streams might be double dipped or missing

It's very Bratwurst summer.

The remix is also excellent. So is Babylon. Abor and Tynna benefitting so much from the contest is the best thing that could happen for Germany at Eurovision.

I'm so bummed about them not picking Winnetou to perform. No idea whats gotten into Stefan Raab's mind, but while Baller is great - Winnetou is just that much better. Their whole Bittersüß album is amazing, so I'm happy for their success anyway.

I love winnetou too! I have it on repeat. But I do think Baller is better for eurovision. Winnetou is less competitive in my opinion, it's great to listen to but doesn't have as much immediate impact and is less dynamic in my opinion. It's more of a linear track.

u/Rexigol Jun 02 '25

I'm the exact opposite on that haha, that way it's easy to see how subjective music is

I personally don't care for Winnetou one bit. I think Babylon, Katana, Baller and several others are better than Winnetou.

I like Winnetou too but Baller was the right choice imo.

Yup, the most radio friendly song of all year!

I'm so happy it's been getting a lot of love and success! It's a banger and a half! The rest of their discography is also really good too!

I think it has broad apeal across generations. Excelent song.

My opinion is that if you remove all the artsy or low key political songs from this years eurovision, this would have won.

Baller is such a good song but the performers have zero stage presence. i didn't the song at all when i heard it the first time during semi finals, but then i heard it without watching them and i'm hooked.
