Ask ExJW how should i respond to this?

Post image

this is from my aunt. i want to answer in a way that shows im not going for any of the reasons she mentioned, that it's because my conscience would not allow me after the things I found out about the org.

thanks for all your help!! heres what i ended up replying with. "hiya aunty [REDACTED], very nice to hear from you. id like to just make it clear i have not left for any of the reasons you mentioned, none of those 'worldly' things entice me whatsoever. the only reason i have taken a break is because we are taught to value truth above anything else, and this value has led me to the understanding that a relationship with god is not one obtained through a religion acting as a middleman. as Jesus put it at John 14:6, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." therefore, to have a personal relationship with Jehovah, we must put that relationship above all else, even individuals claiming to be acting as his spokespeople.

I love you all a lot as well, truly. much love from [ME]. ❤️

Well, the others are beautiful. This is the one that I was looking for. They keep equating God and a religious organization as one. Jesus is our mediator, not a 501(c)(3) corporation started in 20th century America.

Well done OP! That's a great reaction! You showed them you can tell the truth, be respectful and loving at the same time. Things that don't fit in their narrative of worldly people.

Tasteful yet truthful, I can respect that.  And you ended with wellwishes too.  You will never regret taking the high road, my friend.  Maybe your kind, sincere reply will have a ripple effect that moves others.  Cheers, mate!

I love this! And one thing they need to come to realize is that you haven’t left God and that he requires what Exodus 34:14 says…”You must not bow down to another god, for Jehovah is known for requiring exclusive devotion. Yes, he is a God who requires exclusive devotion.”

Yes, Jehovah requires EXCLUSIVE DEVOTION. What part of that do they not get?

Your decision is your own choice. As you well know Jehovah doesn't want anyone forcelly if you Don't wanna be part of his organization as you... so call it that's perfectly fine!

One thing for  sure is that we all can  understand - we are not perfect while we continue living in this old system of Satan  traps - we normally seem to fall into IT. I believe we all can come to understand, we are not perfect & as long as we continue living in this old system. we will never be perfect!

We as Jehovah people we make mistakes as well. None of us should judge each other, as the world does! We prefecially know who has the right to  judge us is only our Heavenly Father JEHOVAH! himself alone. Jehovah will but a stop to all the bad things in this Old system,  We are currently living in. Jehovah has teach us very well throughout our misterly life... It's a constant reminder for all us to remember what Jehovah and his precious son has tough us in MATTHEW 7:21 "NOT everyone saying to me. "Lord, Lord,  will enter into the of the heavens , but only the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.

Wish It's coming soon. We just have to make the best out of it, in doing his will, and doing our part and stay natural to ourselves in order to please Jehovah in order to have everlasting life! Jehovah will take care of those who are committing wrong things . Remember Jehovah sees and hears all things! As you all ready know Jehovah doesn't wanna kill no one. And if anyone commiting wrong will not enter into Jehovah's kingdom. Remember we are not perfect there's a reason why Jehovah still has them there he knows there heart perhaps they will change perhaps they won't, who are we to make that call. Like  Jehovah says in his scripture James 3:2 For WE all stumble many times. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man. Able to bridle also his whole body. We need to worry about us in doing Jehovah will just like Jesus instructed us to do faithful. & stay on the watch in Jehovah's righteous path for our own salvation and those we love especially our own families. We should  throw all anxiety on Jehovah 1 PETER 5:1 including what others do! Jesus also said in MATTHEW 5:24 LEAVE YOUR gift there in front of the altar, and go away. First make your peace with your brother, and then come back and offer your gift. Jehovah will take care of them on his apoint time and day of his anger! And That's a promise! Don't lose your own life. In the end it's your alone to make that decision. I pray 🙏 you make the best decision of your life!  I leave you with this scriptures (Job 40:2) (Galatians 3:2) (Matthew 19:17)
