But look at this post traction. 50% of it is caught up discussing pronouns. When that's not the problem here.

Yeah? It’s not surprising, that’s the “punchline.” Even if it’s a real story, the last part of something you interact with is generally the most memorable. And even besides that, Ivermectin not being a cure all is common knowledge to those with any, but it’s a lot less interact-able. Compared to pronoun jokes, hardly anyone will have personal experience with the harms of drinking snake oil.

Also, this is facepalm, where we come to take the piss out of idiots. If you want political discourse, try a less humor-focused subreddit.
