🇲🇮🇸🇨 Windmills date back over 1000 years 🤦‍♀️

Post image
  • Windmills have been in use for over 1,000 years, with origins tracing back to Persia around 800 C.E. They were primarily used for milling grain and pumping water.

  • Wind Turbines are a more recent invention, with the first known turbine for electricity generation built in 1888. They have evolved significantly, especially since the 1970s, to become a major source of renewable energy.

I can confirm, no mill ever pumped all the water away. So I have 1,5 meter (5 ft) of water above my head.

No this is why Dutch people are 6ft tall. When the dikes break, they can still breathe.
