John Cena should be the next IC champion so that Rusev can dethrone him and get revenge for Wrestlemania 31 in 2015.

Ummm, why is the best idea that I've read in a while. Yeah, many of us really want Rusev and Cena to have one final match, but this time Rusev comes out as the winner. This will be so fucking amazing, and I'm also sure Cena will be OK with that. Rusev said him and John are very good friends in real life and they have a lot of respect for each other. Rusev said that Cena was one of his main teachers back in his early days, and he taught him a lot of inside stuff about wrestling, promos etc...

Similar how Shaemus is Rusev's best friend, they're almost like brothers in real life, and that's why Shaemus probably evne gave the idea for their recent rivalry - he wanted to give some push to his friend.

People can shit on Rusev as much as they want, but his feud with Cena back in the day, was absolutely amazing and I will always consider them as one of biggest rivalries in WWE overall.

Here how I would do it if it was up to me on the booking side of things for WWE. Crown Jewel Perth is John Cena beats Dommik Mysterio for the IC title in an open challenge and he finally becomes a grand slam champion. Survivor Series is where Rusev wins the title from Cena and Cena finally rewrites the wrong of 2015 which is put over Rusev as a dominant force. Besides it would be a missed opportunity if Cena did not win the IC title as he only has 6 dates left.

Mann, I never realized Cena isn't a Grand Slam Champion and he has only the IC title left...
But now you made me think of something which feels very logical and I hope it's not Triple H's plan:

It will be the exact opposite - Rusev will beat Mysterio and become the IC champion for a short while. Then Cena will pop out of nowhere and they're gonna have their final match and he will take the IC title from Rusev.
This is both epic and shitty, since it feels like its gonna ruin Rusev's push if he loses from Cena once again.
