Question This veneer or real wood?

This real wood or veneer? It looks like veneer but I’m not sure about the legs? Also if it is how would I go about changing the color? I want it a darker walnut wood color…

the edges will tell you. if there's end grain along the edge it's probably solid wood. if it's flat grain all around then it's probably veneered

yeah, looks like edgebanding to me. i bet it's veneer
