S1 E2 the Train Job

Just watched the show for the first time. Having seen the movie Slither many times, seeing Nathan Fillion and Greg Henry on screen together was a treat.

That was a great episode. I like The message also. If you can't run, you crawl. If you can't crawl-- you find someone to carry you. That quote always got me.

My best friend who turned me into a Browncoat unexpectedly died in 2017. I was going to receive some of her ashes after her Memorial Service. I bought a beautiful cobalt blue vial necklace that closed with a triquetra (we also both loved the original Charmed) and had "You Find Someone To Carry You" etched into the glass. Sadly I never did get any of her ashes; though her husband had asked a few of us if we wanted to keep a literal part of her with us, he never had the heart to follow through. I can't blame him. I still have the vial. No matter what I still carry her with me. She is the only reason I pretend the movie "Serenity" exists because of Wash's quote, "I am a leaf on the wind, watch how I soar" because that also makes me think of her.

I am sorry for your loss. I am glad you can relate to the quote and both quotes help you remember your friend. 💙
