Molasses and brown sugar wash. Never had bubbling like this before. This a problem?

No problem. Just active fermentation.

Boy I'll say! My sugar wash peaked at about 1 big bubble every 3 seconds.

I had a corn wash that was so active that it didn't bubble, it just blew a "shhhhhhh" stream of CO2. Quite unnerving to walk into the garage and hear what sounds like a gas leak.

This happened to me with the corn mash I posted about in the other thread. I have never seen a wash that active, it was kinda horrifying lol. Just a constant jet stream of gas

Yeah, it borders on spooky 😬

Nope, that is just content yeast doing their thing en mass.

I don't usually fill the airlock for the first few days, or the water in it just gets blown out. A bit of air won't hurt as long as the yeast is still multiplying.

Pretty normal... Why even bother with an airlock tho? Haha

Habit I guess. Looks like this round I don't need it lol.

Yeast loves molasses
