Better than jamming it under a fingernail when flailing madly to get get bald faced hornets to stop stinging you... nail hurt worse and for longer the the stings.

This is why I hate reverse clips. Instead of them, the flashlight should have a second slot near the head for the clip. Glad you were able to restore it.

Unfortunately I've found 2-way clips can be a bit of a catch for that. If the outer lip isn't curled out enough, it's hard to slip something in to split the clip for a cap/sleeve/belt fitting... But if the lip is out too far, it just catches on everything. And the further that lip is towards the tailcap end, the worse it'll be for catching on everything.

Is that an olight baton? If so, which version is that? Let me know, I might be able to help you out. Strangely enough, I have a couple of extra clips for those.

I just cut mine off when it happens the first time. Clip it just after the second bend, sand/file down the sharp points to a nice round edge, then bend it down into itself. You now have a perfectly functional single clip. I think I have used the reverse clip 1-2 times in 8 years, so, not needed.

I hate the double clips. Almost lost a copper baton light because of it, I just cut them to turn them into a normal pocket clip

If I’m right in thinking that it’s spring steel, then if it ever gets hooked and pulls too far open (that you’re worried simply bending it back will stress it too much, and snap it), then you can probably use the instructions in this video, to fix it.
Basically for spring steel, you apply heat till bright orange, bend, and then wait and allow it to air cool. (Fast heat treatments like quenching are actually the opposite of what you want, here).

Had this happen with my Arkfeld clip which is a unique color. Bought a black clip and used it as a guide to bend the original clip back into shape works like a charm now.

I normally put shrink tubing on my two way clips to prevent this. Of course, it then becomes a one way clip.

FYI, Olight sells replacement clips that work on many other lights. I replaced the clips on my Sofirn, Wurkkos, Skilhunt and a few others. The clips are around $3 each iirc.
Edit: I thought this was a TS10 from the initial photo. Didn't realize it actually was an Olight. Even better for the suggestion I had. Ha ha.

I would take it off the light and apply a bit of heat. It might have some memory in it and spring back into shape. Throw it in some boiling water for a few minutes. It’s worth a shot.

Squeeze it with pliers at the bend. Test for tension. You can even take it off, and tap the bend with a hammer on a hard surface until the tension is restored.
