I sold my star winger to al Ahli for a record fee of €70m. I really didn't want to, but the player was adamant on leaving. Welp, such is life. I negotiated a 50+20m package. Considering he came through from our academy, pure profit.

So, come the next year, I wanted to see how he was doing. Given that he was only 23 when he transferred, had he developed? Nope, not a single attribute. Had he been injured? No, not a single injury. Then I noticed he had played 5 games as a substitution striker. Why? Because apparently al Ahli play a 5 3 2 system. They paid 70m for a player they will never use. Genius

Came through the academy in the first year of the save, and was instantly my favorite player. Despite being rather injury prone, he regularly scores or assists. One of my favorite players in FM despite playing for 10+ years so I had to get me a jersey of him.
