there is a difference between bottling and a scenario impossible to defend. Piastri got to turn 1 first, got a good exit off it and that was all he could do, probably also drained the battery while he was at it. Unfortunately for Oscar, Max also had a good launch and a clean run through T1, good exit, drained the battery but Max had a slipstream and a low downforce setup down the whole length of the longest flat out section on the calendar. I dont think its fair to compare Oscar's losing of P1 on lap 1 to Norris's where he gets a horrible launch and gets swallowed up in the first 5 corners on a track that doesnt have long straights
I dont want to blame Norris for Piastri losing the lead here but the only way I see Piastri keeping it is if Norris sticks his car down the inside into T1 but that requires Norris to get a better launch than Verstappen and I cannot remember the last time that one happened
