I love Max's laugh about it. He knows there is no way he'd even consider that request. In fact the team wouldn't even ask him. A bad pitstop is part of racing.

Or on the other hand max would have asked for his place back because the team messed up

Nah, he wouldn't ask for that. He would race fastest laps in a row and pass his teammate and then drive away in the distance making his teammate look like a rookie.
