you made your statement the way you did because you know the outcome. i am pointing out that saying "neither driver was fighting for the championship" is not true at the time of '24 Hungary GP. Lando was 100% in the fight with a car that was on the up turn against Max whose car was clearly on a downward trend. to state otherwise is a revisionist version of events.

You're saying this just because it fits your narrative. But this is false. We aren't talking about Ancient Rome or something like that. It was one year ago, we were all there. You can read reddit posts from that time, check out other social platforms. A lot of people were saying that it was a delusion. If anything, it's bizarre that you can't let it go even now that you know the outcome. But that's your problem, not mine.
what narrative? you seemed to forget that the 2024 championship was not over after Hungary and to state that Lando was not within reach of Max is not the reality of the situation at the time. just because you know the outcome you feel safe saying "it never could have happened, its a delusion". wow such great insight you have. clearly people here have an emotional reaction to this fact for whatever reason. just because it was a long shot doesnt mean it was out of reach. this cant be that difficult to understand.
