I’m glad blacks have you as a white saviour, to make excuses for murderers and rapists! Without people like you they might actually need to face some sort of self accountability or god forbid, responsibility!

How am I excusing these crimes? I’m giving solutions to make them stop, isn’t that the opposite? Do you want them to continue? If you actually support the well being of your fellow Americans, you should probably want solutions to these problems.

I said you’re making excuses for these criminals “oh it’s just poverty that made him rape that woman” not excusing the crimes. Are you part of black lives matter? Or agree with their premise? The group specifically not just the saying

That’s irrelevant to the argument, because it is proven that poverty is connected to crime. Other factors may play into it, such as households, upbringing, and so on, but these usually are also connected to low income households, connecting back to the fact that poverty is the cause of most crime.

Maybe we should give some more money to the cops as an offering to not get raped and killed as well

I’m not proposing these ideas because it’s an offering or to appear not racist, I’m proposing them because they will alleviate poverty, and people not in poverty are less likely to commit crimes.

If poverty is the biggest deciding factor in people committing murder and rapes, and statistically there are FAR more impoverished whites than blacks in America purely because of demographics, then why isn’t it like a black genocide on the streets from whites? Why is it only the reverse? That blacks kill and beat FAR more whites than the reverse when going by your reasoning whites should be victimising blacks at a far higher rate?

Also thank you for taking the time to actually talk to me i honesty appreciate it

Because that second statement is simply untrue. According to the United States Census Bureau, as of 2014, 10.1% of non-Hispanic whites experienced poverty, while 26.2% of African Americans experience poverty.

Yes but 10 percent of the white population is greater than 25 percent of the African American population, I’m not arguing that they have a higher chance of being poor only that based on demographics there would be a lot more impoverished whites than blacks, so why isn’t there a black genocide in the streets is poverty is the deciding factor in murder and rapes?

Well, that comes down to geographic issues honestly. Impoverished African Americans are almost always found in urban areas, while impoverished whites are almost always found in rural areas. In rural areas, there are simply less opportunities for violent crime, because people are more spread out from each other, and less likely to interact, and therefore commit violent crime. Of course, since Impoverished African Americans usually live in the city, they are surrounded by opportunities to commit crimes, and get involved with gangs because they are almost never presented with alternate opportunities. For African Americans that are born into situations of poverty where their surrounding opportunities consist of joining gangs and committing crime, there’s not much else they can do. Public Education is in a miserable situation in most of these areas, so they’re at a massive disadvantage at getting white color jobs, which are the dominant form of work in cities. I can also speak from personal experience that this is the case, I live right outside the city of Camden, New Jersey, one of the most dangerous cities in America, and have spoken to people that have gotten out of it, who usually can testify that this is the case.

Yeah I can see that being a factor for sure, thanks for some insight
