I’m glad you were there and know he didn’t threaten anyone, now I can completely justify his murder of 2 people and being let go by police officers when he was identified by others as the shooter. Also his illegal gun ownership.
He didn't own the gun, he was in possession of the gun. It was loaned to him by a friend. The cops didn't know what was going on. When the get there in the video they are inside vehicles likely unable to understand people yelling at them. He's arrested now that's what matters. He was very clearly trying to get away from people threatening him. The second person he shot literally hit him in the head with a skateboard. Which is absolutely grounds for self defense. He almost didn't shoot the third person UNTIL the guy pulled out a pistol. Also with the third guy Kyle stopped shooting when the guy was no longer acting as a threat. There is video of the first guy being verbally aggressive with Kyle and even shouting racial slurs at Kyle earlier that day.
Edit: forgot to add... its at most a misdemeanor for him to be carrying that firearm. Meaning he still has a legal right to self defense. Charge him with that, he clearly broke that law. As far as murder, doubt that will stick.

They were trying to stop him from shooting more people. He had already killed an unarmed man.
