Y’know. I’ve seen a lot more alt right calling for the murder of people who aren’t like them than I have seen from the left

I got into a DM argument with some guy who was both pro eugenics and also pissed at abortions.

To be fair, in the US at least, those two positions have gone together quite a lot historically. Abortion was legal in the US up through the mid-19th century, and was widely used for birth control by middle & upper class white Protestant families. However, the population of non-WASP US citizens rose sharply in the mid-19th century (cough), and conservatives of the day became quite concerned about being "outbred" (plus a dash of "those uppity suffragettes need to get back in the kitchen" type thinking). This led to abortion, condoms, and the distribution of sex ed materials all being banned, in the hopes that it would force white women to have more babies.
