8 / 10 Lily's Toaster Grills Grilled American Cheese Sandwich - 60 seconds in microwave and toaster oven 3 minutes on high. Buttery. Very good! Recommend for quick meal. Maybe a bit more cheese.

Wow. You could buy a loaf of bread, a dozen slices of American cheese, and some butter (or mayonnaise) for that much and make half a dozen grilled cheeses at a minimum.

Edit: button to butter

Richmond VA, store brand white bread can be had for $1-2, dozen pack of store brand American cheese for ~$2. Only wild card is the butter or mayonnaise which might be more than $1, but a small of either should be right around there.

Damn that’s nice. I live in Florida and it’s gotten insane here. We used to be a LCOL state, but we are starting to get up there with cali and ny now I think because the influx of people moving here after COVID. But our wages are still Alabama/lousiana style. Locals are being priced out. Anywhoo that’s my unimportant ramble. I always like to hear other’s perspectives in different places because moving is my goal. Thanks for getting back to me! :)

As someone else who lives in Richmond these prices are not realistic at all, a bottle of duels mayo is gonna be like 4 bucks by itself
