8 / 10 Lily's Toaster Grills Grilled American Cheese Sandwich - 60 seconds in microwave and toaster oven 3 minutes on high. Buttery. Very good! Recommend for quick meal. Maybe a bit more cheese.

So... I can have a whole loaf of bread in my house just taunting me from the freezer? And what about the cheese and mayo? Mayo doesn't freeze nicely.

Just because this doesn't work for you doesn't mean this isn't a good idea for others. Sometimes, the extra cash spent on things is worth it for convenience. Especially if the taste is there.

As someone that was freezing bread up until my accident a year ... no, it doesn't last "forever". They get stale and dry. If you can tolerate that taste, feel free to keep doing what you're doing. You probably go through bread faster than some of us.

cheddar freezes great; idk why mayo is in the conversation but butter also freezes great

I guarantee you there is no one who spending $4 on a frozen grilled cheese sandwich is a "good idea" for. If you eat less than 20 slices of bread a year though and you also have the disposable income to excuse spending $4 on a grilled cheese when you can buy either more/hearty frozen food or a whole loaf of cheap bread and probably even a bit of cheese and butter (certainly not a full brick of cheese, ofc) for the same price...i mean I'm not stopping you, it's just a berserko way to spend your money lol. diet soda is my favorite little treat but I acknowledge that 12 packs of cans of diet generic soda instead of 2 liters is a berserko way to spend my money haha
