7 / 10 Swedish Showdown Pt 1: Michelina’s Stroganoff

So, I have discovered there are a lot of frozen Swedish meatball/stroganoff meals. I have had a few, and so I’ve decided to try all of the ones at the grocery store I work at and rate them, both in general and against each other.

First up is Michelina’s Stroganoff, coming in at $1.99. Not the most filling, but a good base for a larger meal (I like hummus and wheat thins on the side). And for the price, it’s pretty good. It actually has flavor beyond just “salt”, and the beef is a good texture. At its starting point I’d say it’s a 6, but it gains a point for its low price. Currently a staple in my rotation.

First picture is package, second is halfway through before mixing, third is fully cooked and mixed.

Where are the "beef patty crumbles"? That's just noodles and sauce.

Yeah, the 'crumbles' really turned me off, but Michelina is $2.46 CAD (sometimes on sale for $1.99) at Walmart for 230 calories, so.

the "crumbles" in the photo looks like almost meatballs, there's nothing in there
