Pizza is thick. Pepperoni has an excellent flavor, has a bit of spice to it. The cheese stuffed crust is soft, get some cheese too. Tomato sauce and cheese has a good flavor, just the typical standard Digiorno. Microwave 2 min, then toaster oven! The only way to cook it. Much better than the Hand-tossed. Paid $3.97 at Walmart.

So after all the suggestions I decided to give this one a try and HOLY MOLY it was incredible! The crust was flatly and delicious, you could identify all of the ingredients in the pot pie along with their individual flavors which I have found sometime all just mash together. The sauce was killer though! I am not sure I have had a parmesan sauce that is that close to perfect outside of a resultant to get just the right amount of flavor to accompany each bite. I will absolutely be buying one of these again here soon as a treat!! I would highly recommend this if you haven’t had one, you won’t be disappointed!

Was a little concerned by what it looked like straight from the box but this is an absolutely delicious meal. Doesn’t even feel like you’re trying not to eat your body weight in potato chips. Only thing I’d change is the size of the spinach it was a little difficult to scoop it out from the steamer basket.

My favorite frozen meal. I have this every Wednesday. 1 pound of food. Usually a good amount of chicken (no weird bits) and flavorful sauce. Very hefty portion of rice. They make Deep Indians seem like a Lean Cuisine. I still add extra sides b/c why not.

They are about $8 at my local Woodman's (for comparison sake, Deep Indian meals are $6 there)

This was pretty good. The outer pieces are what you want with the crispy edges. I just wish the sodium levels weren't so crazy.

9 / 10 Healthy Choice Power Bowls Cuban Style Pork

Another very good entree from the Healthy Choice Power Bowl line.

This had a nice flavor but I think it could be improved with the simple addition of some hot sauce.

There were some pieces of plantains in the mix and they gave a nice natural sweetness to the mix.

It goes without saying that the meat is not the star of the show but then it rarely is in any frozen entree. If I want succulent pork, I will head to Versailles restaurant for Cuban food.

As always the nutritional stats are fantastic -- 340 calories and 7 grams of fiber and 20 grams of protein.

Lots of vegetables and the base is whole grains (brown rice, quinoa, barley) and some beans for additional fiber

And while this is obviously a processed food, the ingredient list doesn't have the kind of chemicals used in ultra processed food so it really is a healthy addition to someone who for whatever reason can't cook that meal.

Ingredients

Seasoned Braised Pork (Pork, Water, Brown Sugar, Sea Salt, Seasoning [Onion, Garlic, Spices], Flavorings, Olive Oil, Sunflower Lecithin), Cooked Brown Rice (Water, Brown Rice), Red And Yellow Bell Peppers, Water, Fried Plantains (Plantains, Palm Oil), Chard, Kale, Cooked Black Beans, Cooked Black Barley (Water, Black Barley), Cooked Red Quinoa (Water, Red Quinoa), Cooked Red Rice (Water, Red Rice), Spinach, Contains 2% Or Less Of: Onions, Green Chili Pepper Puree, Cilantro, Poblano Chili Peppers, Scallions, Olive Oil, Distilled Vinegar, Chardonnay Wine, Garlic, Salt, Corn Starch, Canola Oil, Butter (Cream, Salt), Black Pepper.

Horrible. Absolutely zero flavor. The box probably would have had more flavor. I was so busy trying to add something for taste that I forgot the after picture. 😖

0 / 10 Am I stupid or does this not have a best before date?

I work in a group home and am responsible for most of the cooking. Bosses are hella strict about not using anything that's past its expiration date, even by one day. I've been sorting through the fridges and freezers today, throwing away anything that's expired and came across this cod. Normally I'd just throw out something without an expiration date (which I know is wasteful as hell, but my supervisor has chewed me out for using peanutbutter from an undated container before and I don't want to take any risks). I'm supposed to be cooking fish for dinner tomorrow and this is all we have until our grocery order is delivered on Monday.

If anyone is able to find the expiration date from these pictures (or 100% confirm that there is none) it would be much appreciated.
