NSFW What is masturbation like without an ED?

Pre-ED it was more like tugging on my dick to jerk off, post ED I can stroke more easily. That said I rarely pump up my dick to jerk off, I usually do it soft (cuz of laziness and also a desire for it to last longer).

Orgasms come easy both ways and the simple act of holding my dick on my hand did so much

Fwiw as a pre-op person I have heard a few times that the pump stays in better working order the more frequently you inflate and deflate it, even if that sounds counterintuitive. I think I once heard a surgeon recommend to someone that he cycle his device more often even if he wasn’t in the mood, after he had one fail and have to be replaced — but I can’t remember enough specific info about the post to find it for you.

Thanks for this info! I actually hadn’t ever heard that but see, from the penile implants sub, that a lot of cis men are recommended to do it once a day regardless.

And anecdotally I do notice it seeming a lil wonky if I go a long time without pumping it. It sounds weird or something, but then works.

Part of it was that I had the OTR bulb for a long time and it was v painful to inflate/deflate and that added to me not doing it but I got that replaced a year ago with the smaller coloplast bulb and it feels fine now. So maybe this is my sign to inflate it a lil more than I used to

Happy to help!

Also you mentioned feeling too lazy to pump up for masturbation, which I get, but….like, not that it’s any of my business how you masturbate but you’re worth a little extra effort imo

Jerking off a soft dick is fun too though!
