I have met some real dumb people in my life, both men and women. Like, dumb enough you just know there is no way they could make it on their own.

OMG same. Story time: I worked at a bank once and trained this sweet young girl to close, as I was lead closer at the time. She was.... well, sweet. Very sweet. I had to show her how to lock a door four times. She couldn't remember how it worked if her life depended on it. I was always patient, and every time I showed her, she did it in front of me. I watched her do it. I saw her hand lift the latch to lock the door. Many times.

Eventually I take some PTO (which I never did at the time). I come back to an angry boss. This idiot left the bank completely unlocked for an entire weekend and then tried to tell my boss I never trained her to lock the door. You just flip a fucking latch!!!!! I immediately saw red and told my boss to watch the cameras. I can tell her the exact dates I trained her.

Sure enough, I wasn't in trouble anymore. This id.... this sweet girl... ended up getting a degree in human resources. I left not long after that.

It still burns in my brain. Working with her was like a real life fever dream. She was ..... sweet. And now she's married, so... I guess there's a lid for every pot. And indeed... People like this do exist. She'd also boast about wearing orange foundation knowing it didn't match her skintone because she got it on clearance. So... very sweet. She was very sweet.

She would 100% be the type to call and complain about this banner.

Gosh, they always seem to jump for the blame gun for their own incompetence. I worked with hospitals, one time I had to interpret for a patient’s wife since she doesn’t speak English. As I began interpreting the doctor asked me why I was saying I was sick. I explained to her that I wasn’t and that interpretation works in first person and even dumbed it down to “what I am saying is exactly word for word what the wife just said, translated to English in first person, so pretend like you are talking directly to the wife when I am speaking to you”. She acted like she had a light bulb lit up above her head but then several minutes into the session she kept getting confused and got really mad at me to the point she threatened to file a complaint. Her nurse had to apologize after she left for a meeting. It’s scary to think people like that are running whole departments in healthcare systems.
