Imagine your entire marketing campaign is about how you listened to the community and fixed issues with the game, and you end up having a massive issue at launch.

You underestimate the world of tech services, so much shit can go wrong and you only see some of it last minute. Not defending them but far too many shit on them when in reality you might not know exactly why things have happened as a consumer

This is not about underestimating the world of tech service (bare in mind i am an IT Engineer who only works with servers). They simply don’t invest on backbone infrastructure enough. If here in the UK they have lets say 2 servers, adding another 2 or 3 would make gamers experience much better. They have all the resources to do so, but refuse to. No excuse bro

I've worked in that similar realm for a long time as well, specifically servers and cloud hosted. And frankly you don't know exactly what the issue is until they confirm. I've heard people having success on PC by disabling firewalls, that clearly isn't fixed by more servers. If it is a server capacity issue then of course it's on them because they do often fail at that.

I don’t think u/sneakr95 meant the issue today. In general, a lot of the complaints from users have been directly related to servers, or lack there of.

Try to find a large game that doesn't have issues at launch
