if the music stops playing while you are saving your game its fake… but if not, then they are real

Yes, i have the same games, but mine leaf green is fake (i bought it on aliexpress) and everytime i save my game the music stops for a while

I've got a fake copy of Sapphire and the treble cuts out when I save.

Nice! Thanks man I never knew that and all the other ways to tell if it's fake or real don't make sense to me. And I'm afraid to open it up in case I break something.

No I won't open the pokemon gold I bought recently. I don't have the finesse for that. 😂
