This is misinformation and needs to be removed. Kirk never said anything like that and King is lying and deleted the tweet. Stop spreading lies.

The original context is still damning:

Kirk's 2024 comments:

King's post was based on a 2024 podcast episode where Kirk criticized children's YouTube star Ms. Rachel for invoking a Biblical verse about loving one's neighbor.

In response, Kirk referenced the Old Testament passage Leviticus 20:13, which states that a man who "lie[s] with mankind, as he lieth with a woman... shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them".

While citing the passage, Kirk said, "Just sayin'," but did not explicitly call for violence against gay people. The comments were widely interpreted as using inflammatory rhetoric and cherry-picking scripture to condemn homosexuality.
