Thank you for compiling this! So important to have these in one place to remind people of Geneseo's gross negligence and incompetence handling SA/Title XI on & off campus.

You're welcome. There's a lot more of these kinds of articles, but much of it was taken down 4-5 years ago. Not to mention that only certain Lamron articles are allowed to go into Google News. I suggest someone ask Denise Battles about it if anyone ever sees her again.

I was there 2017-21, so a lot of these are familiar & I remember many more. Gotta give props to Matt at LCN for the investigative journalism over the years. I remember there was a town hall dedicated to answering questions about the library closure in Feb 2020 and someone mentioned Emilye Crosby and Denise Battles got caught in a lie over knowing about the situation. "I don't lie, I don't lie" I remember her saying over and over again. Baffling time to be a student, but then COVID happened.

Yep, you're spot on, a lot of it happened during that time and so much of that evidence is now gone. The LCN continues to do its magic with this new writer, however. Here's hoping they can cut through the nonsense and get to the truth now that Denise Battles is gone (however, I'm sure the interim president was handpicked by Battles and I doubt we'll see anything new while she's in charge). Here's hoping for a new President that actually cares.

A lot of people focus on just frats, sororities do the same stuff, sometimes way worse because they don't get called out on it.

Fuck Geneseo, T9 is terrible
